Hello on Wednesday Morning

Dear Friends,

Tuesday went as planned. We did get only a coating of snow, and not the large
amounts which western New York State received.

I went to Lee to visit with my parents for a couple of hours just before the
MahJongg ladies descended upon our house.

My parents were in good spirits.

Linda and her former vice-principal were the big winners while playing multiple
games of MahJongg.

In a little over an hour, I am heading out the door to the annual State REAM
(Retired Educators Association of Massachusetts) meeting at the former military
base called, Fort Devens. Registration begins at 9:30 AM. It is a 2 hour plus
drive.

Linda will have several hours of peace and quiet while I am gone.
No, her day won't be completely free. She is hosting a session of MahJongg
tonight, but this is with a different set of friends.

I have started to watch professional basketball. The Boston Celtics had their
Championship ring ceremony before last night's game. They got the season off to
a good start by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Have to go and get dressed. A sport coat and a tie will be required.
Talk to you soon. The Curley Lad
