Hello on Saturday Morning

Dear Friends,

Just finished savoring another murder / mystery book called "Twisted". Loved every page of it.

Didn't visit Mom yesterday, I will do so in a little while.

Dinner at Cafe Adam in Great Barrington went well. Our group did what diners are starting to do. No drinks except the water on the table as well as no desserts. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The restaurant leans toward French cuisine. We were all members of the clean plate club. We did do dessert at the birthday girl's home.
Speaking of the birthday girl's home, they are now the owners of a flat screen High Definition television. I helped the man of the house lift the old television out of the cabinet. The husband of the house bought a television which just fits inside the cabinet. I tried to convince the couple to get rid of their monster piece of furniture, and get a modern television stand. Parting with the old stuff is not a possibility. They need a step ladder to dust off the monstrosity.
The old television is the size and weight of a space satellite. You would need a pick up truck to haul it away.

Politics -- Stimulus bill is being decided along party lines. If it doesn't work out, you know who to blame.

Social Calendar -- Yet to be determined.

I did forget that this coming week is school vacation in Pittsfield. Every day is a school vacation for retirees.

Happy Valentines Day! Does this mean that there is only one day per year for that warm a fuzzy feeling between couples?

Have a great Valentines' Day, and a great weekend. The Curley Lad
