Hello on Thursday Morning

Dear Friends,

The wintry mix is starting right now. It is fortunate that we don't have to be on the roads for the morning commute.

We had a pleasant Wednesday. The day included two visits with Mom, attending a movie that was okay, but not great, attending a wake, and dinning with another couple for supper which didn't include meat.

Social Calendar -- We will be attending a Wake and Prayer service for an ITAM member who passed away at the age of 96. Her son is a UNICO member so that means we will be doing a UNICO prayer service too.

After making my comments on Wednesday about the lawless which seems to be occurring throughout Pittsfield, and the nation, I opened the Berkshire Eagle, and read about a bar fight which ended with a guy, taking a gun out of his waist band, and shooting the person who he was arguing with. Are we in the Wild West or what?

Politics -- It is kind of quiet on the political front. Obama did allow $200 million to be infused into our military.
The Burris saga in Chicago continues even though people want him to resign.

Well, it is time for me to get back to my morning routine.
Have a great day
Talk to you soon. The Curley Lad
