Hello on Sunday Morning

Dear Friends,
We never made it to the zoo on Saturday. Mother Nature didn't cooperate until around supper time.
a
Speaking of supper, we went off to the Kansas City Plaza for supper last evening. Visualize a two floor series of restaurants with indoor and out door seating with attendants at every plaza every entrance checking to see if you were 21 years old. There was an outdoors stage for entertainment which would start around 9 PM. We were on the 5 PM to 7 PM shift since we had Isabelle with us.
We had a great and relatively quick meal at Gordon's Bierhouse which a chain restaurant located only in the Central and West Coast areas.

Mom update -- We changed our strategy with Mom. I will give more details in a later e-mail. Extending her life is what we are proceeding with right now.

Sports -- Two out of three Boston sports teams won their contests yesterday. I was actually able to watch the Celtics lose their first playoff game at home, and the Boston Bruins Hockey team win. I had to watch highlights to see that the Red Sox won their game.
Speaking of baseball, the Yankees are struggling a bit in their home park while the Red Sox are winning. The Yankees may replace the Red Sox as cellar dwellers. I can hear my Yankee Fan friends say that it is a bit too early, but I always think that these early games set the tone for the rest of the year.

Social Calendar -- Not sure what is on tap for today. It did rain last night, and it still looks cloudy and dreary outside right now.

The birthday party which was scheduled for Saturday was rescheduled for Tuesday. We will still be in Kansas. Linda is so happy.

Politics -- I am out of the loop right now. I have to do a little studying of what our President is up to. I would like to vacation in Cuba one of these days, and it might happen soon.
We might even have a little more access to Venezuelan oil too.

Have a great Sunday.
Talk to you soon. The Curley Lad
