Hello on Wednesday Morning

Dear Friends,

We arrived on time at KCI at 10:30 AM. Danielle and Isabelle picked us up shortly after we picked up our bags. After lunch, Isabelle took a nap, and so did the Curley Lad. We might have to rethink about having a 6 AM flight. We thought that there would be very few people on a flight like that. Not! We forgot that the New York Public Schools have this week off, so many of the people getting on airplanes were heading to warmer climates. I was also amazed by the number of businessmen and and businesswomen who fly out on the early flights to make it for a mid morning sales meeting or seminar.

The weather in Kansas was great on Tuesday, and we have another warm one on tap for today before any rains make their way to the middle of the country.

I did call my sister who gave me an update on Mom. She was pretty much in the same condition when we left her on Monday.

What is really nice about our Kansas visit is that we are celebrating life as opposed to being on a watch for the inevitable.

Our 14 month old grandchild has progressed so much since the last time that we visited which was right after Christmas. She is like the energizer bunny. We spent several hours outside in the fresh air in their fenced in backyard.
It might be a shorts and tee shirt day type of day.
Isabelle might be a lefty!

I did get a chance to watch the Boston Celtics win once again. The Red Sox game was not broadcast in this area so I had to settle for Kansas City Royal victory. The Sox lost in 12 innings, and continue their strong hold in last place in their division.

Well, have a great day at work or play.
Have to get dressed, and take the grandchild outside for some good old fresh air.

Talk to you soon. The Curley Lad
