Hello on Tuesday Morning

Dear Friends,

I was in my slug mode yesterday. I watched three different kind of sporting contests--> Golf, College Football, and the Red Sox. Yes, the Red Sox did win their game last evening.

Linda was busy creating photo albums from the many pictures which were taken at Kevin and Kyla's wedding by my sister and another friend of ours. She also finished up dealing with the place cards for the wedding which we are attending this weekend. She even found time to do some knitting of baby clothes.
Of course, there are almost daily pictures of Isabelle sent from Kansas. Linda is constantly changing the pictures frames throughout the house.

Isabelle will be one year old on December 29, 2008. Where has all the time gone?

Before I tee off today near 11 AM, I too will have a bunch of items which I have to deal with. I am a heart beat away from securing a guest speaker for our October 8, 2009 REAM (Retired Educator Association of Massachusetts --The Berkshire County Chapter) luncheon.

Linda's day won't end with her normal Tuesday MahJongg session. She too has several errands to complete after playing MahJongg.

Politics -- The 17 year old daughter of McCain's vice-president running mate was participating in activities on her own. The word is she is going to marry the boy who impregnated her. Obama has already stated: " What goes on in families has nothing to do with the campaign."

The school buses will be running this morning for the first day of school. I hope that everything goes smoothly. The bus drivers made practice runs several days last week.

The Hurricane -- It was good to see that hurricane Gustav did less damage than what Katrina did. We will have to see the overall l damages after the rain finally exits the troubled areas.
Hurricane Hannah could be interrupting our nice weather by the weekend.

Have to go and read the local newspaper. It just arrived. The Curley Lad
