Hello on Tuesday Morning

Dear Friends,

Yesterday went well in our home. I was at Linda's "beck and call" as she danced around the kitchen preparing different epicurean delights, some of which will be used for today's party, and others for Christmas Day Dinner with the seniors. At different points during the day, we realized that the kitchen might not be big enough for the two of us as we kept on bouncing into one another.

I needed a power nap before we went off to do some errands at Walmart, which was a real zoo.
Since it was near supper time, and we were in the "neighborhood", we decided to stop in at Applebees for a light supper. Since it was the time which senior citizens dine, we had no trouble being seated. Our food was just okay. The french fries tasted like they were leftover from lunch. The onion rings must have come out of a box, were more batter than onion. No, we are not going to dine at Applebees for a long time.

My sister's day surgery on her elbow went well. She was feeling no pain after the hour long surgery. The pain would begin about 8 hours later.
She is in a sling right now, and she is supposed to be immobile for several weeks. She is going to be waited on by other family members for the Christmas Day Dinner at her house. We will be going there after our Christmas Day dinner.

Our guests will be arriving at 5 PM for the Curley Christmas party. Luckily the weather forecast is a very good one. Rain is predicted to fall on Wednesday as we head out for some Christmas Eve festivities.

It is hard to believe that I am officially 62 years old today. Since Dear old Mom is 30 years older than me, I have a window to the future. Now that is a scary thought!

Well, we have to do a little more preparing, setting up things, a quick cleaning, and removing a little clutter. We will be ready to entertain by 5 PM.

Have a great day at work or play.
Talk to you soon. The Curley Lad
